I've only just begun and I already feel the weight of how much work and time must go into creating a blog. There is a lot of preparation that goes into writing for your blog. You must research what others are doing, what's the best platform, what's your vision, how are you different. How many times do you need to post, how much should you write, and do I need to be a part of every social media outlet? That being said, I couldn't be more excited. It's going to be tough at times and I may not always have the right thing to say, but this is my blog. This is a blog for the person that doesn't always have just one style. The person that wants to try different things with their style. The person that doesn't always wear the newest/latest trends but they know how to make it their own.
Here's to you who wants to have fun with their style and not be confined to one thing. Gosh! There are so many styles to play with to not have more than one style! Find what inspires you and make it your own. I feel like those words are always tossed around, but it really is key. Comparing and trying to be something else will only hurt you in the end. I quickly found that out as I researched blogger after blogger and how badly I wanted that to be me. You have to start somewhere and it has to be fun. I couldn't do any of this without a support group as well. I want to thank Jennifer for guiding me and for my husband who pushes me.
I snagged this jumper on Labor Day weekend from Forever21 where they had a deal for buy one get one free sale items! My shoes are actually the shoes I got married in last March. I was second shooting a wedding and spotted them on one of the bridesmaids, I had to have them. I was surprised to hear she got them from Charlotte Russe! They aren't available anymore but you'd be surprised at how many affordable and cute shoes you can find!
